Iyad. Omar

My name is Iyad Ahmad Omar. I am from Jordan. I was born in Saudi Arabia in 1978. I had lived there for fifteen years. After finishing the intermediate stage, I moved with my family to Jordan, and we lived there. I finished the secondary stage in Jordan in 1996. Then I obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Alahliya Amman University in 2000. After that, I obtained a master's degree in accounting and banking sciences from The Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences in 2003. In 2025, I finished a Doctor of Business Administration from California Southern University (Online) with an average of 3.39 / 4.00. I got married in 2006, and I now have two daughters and two sons. I started my professional career at the Audit Bureau as an accountant from 2004 to the end of 2015. In 2016, the Audit Bureau's management transferred me to the internal control unit as an internal auditor. In 2020, the management of the Audit Bureau relocated me again to the department of financial affairs. In addition to that, I worked in several drugstore companies as a part-time accountant from 2007 until 2015. I am interested in reading accounting and financial books. I have long experience in accounting and financial duties. My work as an accountant in the Jordanian public sector and the Jordanian private sector has provided me with strong experience in accounting and finance. In addition, working for more than two years as an auditor in the internal control unit in the Audit Bureau improved my experience in auditing and analyzing processes.
